How It Works

Type Selection:

Choose general or special POA (e.g., list sub-types like vehicles, litigation for customized preparation).

Document Review:

Reviewing the drafted Power of Attorney to ensure it meets the requirements for authentication by UAE authorities (clarity, specific powers granted, correct parties identified).

Prepare for Notarization:

Ensuring principal(s) have necessary ID, arranging appointments with the Notary Public if required, and ensuring any required translations are ready.

Payment Facilitation:

Assisting with the online payment of any associated government fees through the portal’s payment gateway.

Further Attestations (If Required):

If the POA needs further attestation (e.g., by Ministry of Justice, Ministry of Foreign Affairs for international use), managing these subsequent steps.

Eligibility Requirements

  • The principal granting the power must be legally competent and present proof of identity (Emirates ID/Passport). The POA document must be clear and comply with UAE legal standards.

Required Documents

  • The Power of Attorney document (drafted, usually in Arabic or bilingual).
  • Valid original Emirates ID or Passport of the Principal(s).
  • Passport/ID copies of the Attorney/Agent.
  • Any supporting documents related to the POA’s subject matter (e.g., property Title Deed if for property management).
  • Specifics for sub-types (e.g., property deeds for real estate POA)

Additional Supporting Documents (If Available)

  • Certified legal translation if the original POA is not in Arabic (Notary usually requires Arabic).
